Jeannine Michèle Wacker

Jeannine Michèle Wacker is a singer, dancer, actress, and songwriter. Born in Switzerland, after completing her training in New York she took the stage as Scaramouche in the musical “We Will Rock You” and as Lauren in “Kinky Boots” at the Hamburg Stage Operettenhaus.

In 2016 she spent a year playing the female lead in the ARD soap opera “Sturm der Liebe”. Jeannine Michèle Wacker has also appeared internationally: in the science-fiction thriller Singularity, she played the female lead alongside John Cusack. In addition, she lent Saoirse Ronan her voice for the German version of the film “On Chesil Beach”. Then 2018 saw the release of the video “Du gibst mir Kraft” – her German-language version of “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban.

Most recently, Jeannine appeared as Maggie in “Otello darf nicht platzen” at the Bielefeld Theater and Tonya in “Doctor Zhivago” at the Lüneburg Theater. 

You can currently catch her on the small screen as Bettina in “Einstein-WG”, a Swiss television web series.


In 2020 you can see Jeannine take the stage in “Schmidts Tivoli” in Hamburg or tune in to her podcast “WanderCafé”, which successfully launched in 2019.
